Dried Black Trumpet Mushrooms are striking with any dish. Most popular with french cuisine, this mushroom does taste best after being re-hydrated from a dried form. The dehydrated mushrooms are small and have a compressed, twisted, and folded appearance with a hollow center. The flesh is thin, brittle, and delicate, crumbling under pressure, and ranges in color from brown, black, to grey.
This Champagne vinegar comes from the region of Champagne Ardennes in the north-east of France. It is made from the sediment of Champagne and aged in oak barrels.
